What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

Success Rate

An Upgrade Pity is a product that you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of the upgrade being successful by an amount. This is similar to the luck bonus certain items offer however it is more stable. It can be added to any weapon or armor and is able to be used up to three times.
You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. These are shown in a window above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.
A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version, can be used to increase the likelihood of a successful upgrade. This item can be helpful when your piece of equipment or weapon is near or has reached the top level of its tier. It will let you upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without worrying about it breaking.

Failure Rate
The item upgrader allows players to add a second slot on their equipment. These slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enhancement.
